He worked his way to Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, and then served in the United States Coast Guard — postings on Saipan and being awarded with a Distinguished Service Medal. Next came General Electric with foreign assignment in Egypt and Turkey. To France where he worked for Systar. A second career in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance followed, along with bylines in CIO and BusinessWeek, and building a successful consulting firm and sold. The manuscript is finished. The next chapter is publication.
